Divine Dreaming – the end is not nigh.

This site presents posts about biblical dreams. Also I create podcasts and videos as well as readings of posts regarding eschatology.

Since beginning this website, I have written also about the importance of understanding the simple eschatology that the Bible teaches. Without this understanding, it is difficult for believers to receive the miraculous healing Jesus has won for us. This is because so many churches teach things that have come through the state tied to the church through past centuries -that is, historical tradition that suited political purposes. These Medieval traditions cling on, particularly in Pentecostal style churches as well as more conservative religious groups. Currently, the talk of “end times” as impending is actually counterproductive to God’s purpose in the earth and to the health of those who espouse these “world watching” commentaries.

Videos can also be accessed through my You Tube Channel – https://www.youtube.com/@margaretkspriggs5759 . There’s also a Border Collie Playlist on the channel as we believe caring for our animals is a blessing and responsibility – as well as just plain fun.

As you’ll see if you look at the posts on this site, I have had years of study in the area of biblical dreams, Hebraisms, apocalyptic language and eschatology, including working with others to understand divine dreaming from the biblical perspective. I try to talk about these things in simple terms; but if you come across unknown words, just keep going and it will soon return to everyday words.

The Bible predicted that when the Holy Spirit would come, men and women, young and old, would receive dreams and visions from the Lord. Dreams are part of the work of the Holy Spirit, and one of the ways the Lord speaks to some, bringing them into personal liberty through His Joel 2 / Acts 2 Dream Ministry. Divine dreams draw us into God’s loving Word, the Bible. Dreams from the Holy Spirit agree with the truth of His loving intention for us all.

God is gracious and loving to all people. He also gives more dreams and truth to everyone who is willing to take the dreams He sends seriously.

Dreams point us to Himself in Jesus Christ. It’s not about “a religion” because religion makes rules and is coercive. Jesus brings liberty and real healing because He is the only one to die and rise from death. He has proven His victory over death and all evil. Jesus Christ alone can change a human heart from fear to peace. He alone has the answers to this world’s evils. He is my mighty Healer.

One important thing to note is that we neither sell a service or ask for money when we help people with the interpretation of their dreams or prayer for healing. I have received so freely regarding these things and I am happy to help people understand the biblical symbols that occur in their dreams, so that they can read the Bible prayerfully concerning the passages indicated. This is not to be a money-making venture. You cannot buy what Jesus has already paid for. That is an insult to God. Monetization of this God-given gift is an indication that dark interpretations are probably involved. Engaging with darkness is a backwards step into the depressed and fallen world and to be avoided.

The purpose of dreams is most commonly personal, even though other “people” may appear in dreams. The biggest error today, regarding dreams, is the assumption that entities in dreams are literal. This is rarely the case. Those not skilled in the symbolic nature of the parables can easily fall into the trap of thinking they have some future kind of fortune telling for their friends, church or nation. The internet is littered with the relation of many such errors. Dreams are prophetic, but it needs be understood that in this age, all Biblical prophecy is already fulfilled. Through dreams the Holy Spirit brings us into the Word of God, the Bible. He is most commonly leading the person into greater liberty in Christ through encouragement, consolation, edification, and also warnings and lovingly, correction.

Many today are having biblical dreams, bringing them into Christ. But there are also others who mis-interpret dreams as literal prophecy of a geo-political nature, which shows a lack of understanding of the nature of biblical metaphor (Hebraism) and the Bible’s message. For this reason, I am developing a Biblical Dream Dictionary on this site.

I realise some of my writing / videos may offend religious people, but my heart is not to offend, but to show what the Bible really says, to open people’s eyes to divine truth and purpose. What I stand for is the spiritual liberty God intends for us all to have in Jesus Christ, not institutionalised religion, which can lead to depression.

To Christians, I would say: People who study biblical dreams are often regarded as not entirely “orthodox”. It isn’t common for academics to delve into this kind of study. But if we study ancient Hebrew culture, we’ll find God used dreams in important ways in both the Old and New Testaments. Their general ecclesial use is evidence of just one aspect of Holy Spirit activity. When we study the dreams of the Bible, we learn about eschatology. This is because we learn the types, shadows, metaphors and symbols which are the richness of Hebrew poetry and apocalyptic writing. After studying biblical dreams, I found it very much easier to understand what Jesus was saying in the book of Revelation. The moon and stars falling are easily identified as the false tribes of ancient Israel when we check their first symbolic mention in Genesis. Jacob himself understood these symbols instantly when his son Joseph related his God-given dream. And that the tribal leaders bowed to Joseph, the Christ-type eventually, brings much comfort to those who want to agree with scripture and Paul regarding God’s mercy, “All Israel will be saved“. Indeed, He is “the Living God, who is the Saviour of all mankind, especially those who believe.” 1 Timothy 4:11. I speak much more of these biblical understandings in the posts.
